It’s Time to Slow Down a Bit and Give Back

Often, we are too busy with our own personal goals and priorities that we may miss what could turn out to be an important event.

As the year starts to wind down, I like to reflect on what has transpired over the past ten months. To me, it’s important to know what I have accomplished this year and most importantly, have I given enough to support nonprofits?

Often, we are too busy with our own personal goals and priorities that we may miss what could turn out to be an important event. November is a great time to slow down a bit. Make the time to volunteer, meet up with a friend, or assist a relative. And with the holidays around the corner, it’s the perfect time to give thanks to those who have or are currently helping, supporting, or caring for us.

Speaking of giving thanks, let’s continue to remember our Veterans, who we just celebrated earlier this month. At Freedom Mortgage, we want to thank all those who are currently serving or have served our country. Without their sacrifice we wouldn’t be able to live the lives we have chosen.

At Freedom Mortgage we recently started our annual Holiday Toy Drive where we will fundraise and collect holiday gifts for less-fortunate children across the country. Money raised and toys collected during this campaign will be divided among Toys for Tots, The Salvation Army, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to purchase toys for households in need of support this holiday season. If you’d like to join us and donate, please click here.

Thank you!

The way I see it, no one really likes change. However, we all have the power to improve the way we perceive the very nature of change.
