I'm pleased to share that my life's journey will soon be available in a book called, "Seeing Around Corners", scheduled for release September 17, 2024.
My biography was written with the help of author and investment banker, Chris Whalen. Chris and I met numerous times so I could share how I started out in business, the various challenges I faced, and how I overcame them.
My hope is that those who read this book will find it helpful in forging ahead to find success and achieve goals. While sharing how my career unfolded, I also offer advice and encouragement to entrepreneurs and leaders in any industry.
The book includes stories of key points throughout my career, from selling the country's bicentennial souvenirs to marketing home security systems; the moment I walked away after being held at gunpoint (when I was managing a diner); and eventually starting and growing Freedom Mortgage into one of the largest mortgage lenders in the country.
