November is a special month for me and for all of us at Freedom Mortgage. It’s not simply a day, but an opportunity to honor veterans throughout the month.
We honor our own by producing and delivering video messages throughout November featuring employees who have served in the different branches of the US military. Additionally, we thanked our employees who have identified as a veteran with a fun virtual gathering to celebrate their valor and connect them with each other.
This year is particularly rewarding because our efforts to support military service members who work for the company were recognized and we were honored with the Seven Seals Award. This prestigious award comes from the New Jersey state chair of the Employers Support of The Guard and Reserve (ESGR) committee, a Department of Defense program. I’m proud of the HR benefits teams for working quickly, so we can support our employees on standby to serve.
