Preparation Is Key to Success

If you don't plan to succeed, you plan to fail! This is a simple truth.

To plan for success, you must know what success looks like to you. So, quantify it.

Turn your hopes into a vision; your vision into a strategy; your strategy into tactics; and your tactics into tasks that you will complete every day to obtain your success.

This is how to achieve what you most desire — know what you want then decide how to get it. It sounds simple and it is, but it can be complex. Nothing worth achieving or acquiring comes to us easily. So, you must be disciplined and have purpose in your actions to get you closer to what you want.

Everything you do should feed into your plan. Don't be afraid to fail. Failure happens in the task stage regularly. Following these steps allows you the luxury of facing failure at the task level and will prevent failure at the success level. Preserving the option to adjust the task, tactics, or strategy does not minimize your success, even if it may alter your vision. It's important to be agile and not be so set on executing a plan when the environment has changed.

Be true to yourself and keep getting better!

You can achieve anything you can imagine if you can quantify your ambition!
